General area
The Portes du Soleil is a huge area, in the French Alps, linking the resorts of Morzine,
Les Gets, Avoriaz, Chatel, Morgins and Champery. In the winter there are over 650km
of marked runs catering for all levels of skiing; in the summer there are 500 km of trails
for mountain biking and walking.
There are loads of activities available for a fantastic holiday in winter or summer, including
skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, walking, white water rafting, climbing and golf.
The area is stunningly beautiful with amazing views over Mont Blanc, the Dents de Midi and
Lake Geneva.
Our holiday chalet is just over an hour away from Geneva airport and an easy 8 hour drive
from the Channel ports making it very accessible for a week or fortnight's holidays or
even short breaks.
